Race Day Schedule

6:45am - 7:45am: Packet Pickup at the Old Log Cabin (see map at bottom of this page)
8am: RACE START
2:15pm: Cutoff to begin last loop at Old Log Cabin for 50K
5pm: Course Closes (9hr time limit)

Aid
Tradition ultra marathon fare at aid stations approximately every 4 miles.

Entry Fee
25K Fee: $35 if received before August 17, after $50. Limited to 40 spots.
50K Fee: $40 if received before August 17, after $50. Limited to 125 spots.

Directions to Mill Creek Park

For directions to the "upper parking lot" at Fellows Riverside Gardens,  the address is 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown, OH. Do not MapQuest "Mill Creek Park".  It will not take you to the start/finish area.

From Cleveland/Akron
Ohio Turnpike to exit 218; travel east on I-80 to Youngstown; follow I-680 to Belle Vista Ave. (exit 3B); Consult map depending on where you wish to park

From Pittsburgh
Ohio Turnpike to exit 234; I-680 north to Youngstown; exit Glenwood/Mahoning Ave.; at stop sign turn right onto Edwards St; at traffic light turn left onto Mahoning Ave.; travel 1/2 mile to McKinley Ave.; turn left and follow into park.

Course Map

Description: The course is highlighted below with pink dots.  All runners will start at the Old Log Cabin and will travel clockwise on the map shown below.  Once you reach the Covered Bridge aid station (next to Rt. 62) you will pass through the bridge and cross over to the west side of Lake Newport.  You will then run around Lake Newport twice in a counter-clockwise direction.  After finishing your 2nd loop around Lake Newport you will pass through the Covered Bridge again and continue running the trails on the west side of Lake Cohasset all the way back to the Old Log Cabin.  At this point, the 25K runners will be finished.  The 50K runners will then continue to run around Lake Glacier and Cohasset in a clockwise motion 2 more times before finishing, crossing through the Covered Bridge each time.
